JULY 10. 2026, MOUNT KISCO, NY: Following the acclaimed theatrical debut of Mar Jennings: ONE MAN SHOW at the SHU Theatre in Fairfield, CT, in April, Emmy®-nominated television host, bestselling author, award-winning realtor, and lifestyle expert Mar Jennings will present two exclusive Live Reading performances this summer, offering audiences an intimate preview of his deeply personal and inspiring theatrical production.

Written and performed by Jennings and directed by Serena Norr, the Live Reading strips away elaborate production elements to focus entirely on storytelling, giving audiences a rare opportunity to experience the raw emotion, humor, and resilience at the heart of the show.

Described by attendees as"MARvelous, Inspirational, a Rollercoaster of Emotions!", the presentation chronicles Jennings' extraordinary journey through abuse, loss, survival, reinvention, and ultimately hope. Through personal reflections, humor, and heartfelt honesty, the performance inspires meaningful conversations about healing, resilience, and the power of the human spirit.

Mar's SHU Theater performance raised more than $150,000 for The Center for Family Justice, supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. The show's powerful message has already generated interest from foundations and mission-driven organizations as a compelling fundraising and advocacy event. Jennings hopes to use his story to raise awareness, inspire action, and support survivors.
